For centuries, the Maasai of Kenya and the Mangyan of the Philippines built their lives around craft, land, and community. Then the world changed. Cities grew. Roads were built. Forests were cleared. These communities — whose knowledge of beadwork, weaving, and carving spans generations — found themselves on the edges of a world that had moved on without them.
H.A.N.D. Collective is not about rescuing them. It is about giving them a marketplace. A stage. An audience that wants what they've always known how to make. When you buy from us, you are not buying a souvenir. You are participating in an economy that has always existed — just never had a global reach. Until now.

Kenya — Maasai & Kenyan Artisans
From the highlands of Maasai Mara to the workshops of Nairobi, our Kenyan partners practice three living traditions: Maasai beadwork — a language of color worn at every chapter of life — wood carving in ebony and rosewood, and sisal weaving for baskets, runners, and home goods.
Every piece is signed by the artisan who made it. Every order helps put a child through school, buy better tools, or expand a workshop.

Philippines — Mangyan (Coming Soon)
Deep in the mountains of Mindoro Island, the Mangyan have woven nito vine into baskets, bags, and textiles for over a thousand years. The pakudos patterns woven into each piece carry meaning passed from elder to child in unbroken lines.
We are currently onboarding Mangyan artisan partners. The first products will arrive soon — preview them in the shop today.
